Synopsis[]
The Academy is putting on a play, and of course Vana gets the lead female part, which motivates Eric to try and get the male lead. After a horrendous audition, Eric miraculously gets the part. He doesn’t know how, until he sees that the director is Drilliam Shakespeare, a villain who Eric had defeated in the past. Eric suspects Drilliam wants revenge and that’s the only reason he got the lead. He tries to convince his friends that Drilliam is up to no good, but they don’t buy it.

Cultural References[]
- The play, MacBlast, is a parody on MacBeth.
- The fact that something bad happens every time somebody says "MacBlast" is a play on an old superstition in theater, suggesting that if someone says "MacBeth" backstage, they're going to curse the play and ruin the performance on the night of the show.
