Graduation Daze is the last episode and series finale of Sidekick. It is the 24th episode of Season 3 and the 104th episode, overall.
Synopsis
The sidekicks have their graduation day, and have to go through grueling exams to graduate.
Plot
It's the last day of school at Sidekick Academy, and all of the sidekicks are excited to finally graduate. During the celebration, Eric is pulled aside by Professor Pamplemoose to tell him that he has been accepted into Super University, meaning that unlike the other students, who will become mere sidekicks, Eric will rise above and become a full-blown superhero.
When the others hear about this, they have varying reactions. Vana is pissed, knowing she deserves the award way more than he does. Trevor is going to miss Eric but at least he'll have a pinata of him to remember him by, and Kitty is equally as excited for him as she is in denial about letting him go, thinking that if she holds onto him, they'll be forced to take her with him.
Eric goes to shadow at Super University for a day, where he greets Maxum Mom, Maxum Mel, and Maxum Mutt, the latter of which is surprisingly not tearing him to shreds. Maxum Mom and Mel give Eric his super suit, giving him all of the powers of Maxum Man, such as flight, super strength, heat vision, and X-Ray vision. Eric demonstrates complete incompetence with these powers right off the bat, when he flies straight into a statue of Maxum Man and slides down his butt.
On the day of the graduation ceremony, the sidekicks all graduate and their superheroes pick their partners. Vana's superhero is Savannah Glama, Kitty's superhero is Uni-Cyclops, and Trevor's superhero is Master XOX, going in disguise as a superhero named "Not E-Vile Man", who plans on taking the sidekicks down from the inside with the help of Trevor, who overhears his evil monologue and is unsurprisingly, completely on board with it. Eric admits that being a superhero is hard work and a lot more trouble than he initially thought it would be and is kind of reluctant to say that it's better than being a sidekick.
Professor Pamplemoose makes his announcement at the graduation ceremony and says that the sidekicks haven't officially graduated until they receive their respective diplomas and before they graduate, he still has one final test for them; fighting an ultra robotic monster he built, called Robo-Dragon. All of the other sidekicks fail to defeat the dragon but Eric uses his superpowers to epicly fight him in a death battle and, after a cheap death fake-out, finally destroys him once and for all. This not only helps him to master his superpowers and finally embrace being a hero, but also earns him the respect of everyone at Sidekick Academy, (even Vana).
Overjoyed by the celebration, Eric gets a little cocky and looks for his diploma in the pile of diplomas, using his X-Ray vision but makes the mistake of using his heat vision, destroying all the diplomas in a fire, thereby nullifying them and making it so that all the sidekicks have to restart the entire year all over again. This results in him getting his suit ripped off by Pamplemoose, exposing his naked butt to the entire school, who is furious with him for ruining everything. Eric begs for mercy, assuring them that this was only an accident but this doesn't matter, as everybody beats Eric up and treats him with way more hatred and abuse than they ever did before. This also means that everybody is going to have to repeat the entire year from the beginning.

Trivia
- This is the series finale of Sidekick.
- Eric Needles was only accepted into Super University to become a superhero because of a generous donation from Maxum Corp, bribing the school into giving him the scholarship. Realistically, Eric was the least qualified student at Sidekick Academy to become a superhero.
- Ultimately, Eric misused his superpowers to destroy all of the diplomas and force everyone to repeat the grade, proving himself to be unfit to be a superhero.
- As seen on Maxum Man's Video, Kid Ruthless is apparently enrolled at Super University, meaning that not only did he become a superhero, but he also graduated early as was, in turn, one of the only students at Sidekick Academy to avoid being screwed over by Eric.
- The Random Pig makes a cameo, cock-a-doodle-dooing like a rooster.
- Eric's favorite breakfast food is bacon pancakes, bacon waffles, scrambled bacon on bacon with a side order of bacon bacon, and freshly squeezed bacon to drink.
- This proves to be detrimental to his vital organs, as seen by how his liver, lungs, and brain hold a funeral for his heart.
- It's revealed in an orphanage flashback that Eric was first brought into the Orphanage as a baby, when they found him lying in a box outside, which he calls "Boxy".
- There is a hidden sexual innuendo in this episode, where Eric tries using his X-Ray vision to spy on Vana in her house but ends up using heat vision to destroy it instead. In the wreckage of the destroyed house, Vana is seen in the bathtub, meaning that if Eric had used his X-Ray vision properly, he would have seen her naked. Knowing Eric's infatuation with Vana, he would have enjoyed this and even taken erotic pleasure from this.
- XOX goes in disguise as a fake superhero named "Not E-Vile Guy" and picks Trevor Troublemeyer to be his sidekick.
- Trevor hears XOX's plans to take down the sidekicks and is fully on board with him, once again revealing his deep-rooted villainous intentions.
- List of sidekicks and their respectively picked supers, as of this episode;
- Fans weren't happy with the ending due to Eric's knack trouble that prevents the sidekicks from getting graduated. Due to this, it caused a lot of controversy. As a result, rumours circulated that the episode had a alternative good ending.
